Dr. Carl Sharsmith appears to be quite a guy and well worth the effort of getting a peak named in his memory... 

I hope you are successful with your effort.  Individuals like Dr. Sharsmith are an important part of our legacy in the NPS and I really love the idea of this pioneering interpreter being recognized for a lifetime of sharing what he loved with others.
